Bank Repo Car Auctions Options Tips

Bank Repo Car Auctions Options & Tips

For those of you wondering whether you have a chance of owning your dream car at an inexpensive rate, here is the answer. Yes you can, by going to repo car auctions.

Maybe you already own a car but want to buy a second one at a low rate, repo car auctions could be the perfect choice for you.

Repo cars are privately owned vehicles that have been seized either by the bank, financial institutions or the government. Reasons vary why these cars have been taken back.

Repo cars are also the extra vehicles, every time the government purchases new autos, the old vehicles are disposed of through auctions or through used-car dealers. Repo cars are also privately owned vehicles that have been seized either by the bank, financial institutions or the government.

Reasons mostly are because of accidents at work claims and several other job loosing incidents where people can’t pay their loan.

Repo cars are always the most stylish and the greatest bargain deals at any used car auction. This is because repo vehicles are not too old as they are placed on sale when the owner of the car fails to make the loan payment on time, this is when the finance companies or banks repossess the vehicles or take it back from the purchaser.

Repo cars are more often than not well used, and should be treated as second hand cars. In fact, the reason why repossessed cars are so competitively priced at government car auctions is because they have been used by the owner (in some cases for a few years). Repo cars can be a risk when buying them. But most time there is no fault with it because banks just claim the car and they are still paying but there is nothing wrong with the car.

Used cars come with some drawbacks, but lots of benefits as well. Nevertheless buying a used car is one of the smartest purchases a someone can make. Most people know that a new car loses thousands of dollars in depreciation the moment it is driven off a dealership lot. A used car however is going to continue closer to the value you owe if it was financed and purchased from an auction. In fact if it was purchased from an auction you could plausibly sell it for a profit.

A great resource for finding offline auctions near you is through auctions sites. But you need to find a suitable online auction service that provides tech support, an updated database of vehicles for you to choose from, and a service that is fast.

Repo cars are usually in good condition but can sell very cheap. The repo rate hike by RBI is likely to reach record highs as banks are considering increasing interest rates on retail financing.

A great alternative is Repo cars and they are available at various auctions all over the nation in every state. What is still more beneficial is that as the government and the auctioneers want to dispose of these vehicles as fast as workable, they are sold at throw away prices and you could likely get one for a cheaper price than 50% - 90% of the retail value.

Offsite RV Storage Is It Safe

Offsite RV Storage - Is It Safe?

If you have ever driven down a road for very long, you may have found yourself wishing you had more room to stretch out a knee, or a place to hold your 64oz mug. If you do much traveling in the summer with the family, a little extra elbow room would go a long way for the kids in the back seat. In fact, you may have found yourself a little envious of your neighbors brand new Class A RV, with the slide out canopy and room for the whole family. You may have wondered why you could not get one yourself, and then looked over your shoulder at the small driveway and realized you have no room for such a luxury.

Fortunately, there is a way to have your cake and eat it too, as the saying goes. RV storage is a common obstacle for would-be RV owners. The practicality of parking the whale of a vehicle is sometimes less than accommodating. You can not just pull it into the garage for the winter and you can not very well leave your investment parked on the curb. Most city ordinances or homeowners associations would not allow that.

For some, with enough room to spare, a special shed or carport could be erected in the backyard to use as RV storage . However, it may become somewhat of an eyesore to The Missus and your neighbors. You may also be required to attain permits from your city in order to build the structure and it would have to meet building codes.

Insurance for your RV may also be a premium if you do not use adequate RV storage because it heightens the chance that the RV may be damaged.

One option that is becoming increasingly popular is offsite RV storage . Some RV owners may be reluctant to think about leaving their RV in the care of someone else. However, professional RV storage establishments are very safe and usually offer more security than your own driveway, garage and certainly your street side would offer.

Some of the most sought after features of offsite RV parking are :

Access Controlled Gate - This means that only tenants with their own RV parking spots can enter the premises. In most cases, each tenant has a unique pass code that unlocks the gate, so a property manager would know who is coming and going.

Fenced Perimeter - Along with a gate, comes a fenced perimeter. The fencing should be high and rolled over the top, aimed toward the outside, so that anyone thinking to climb it will think again. This will also keep wandering animals out of the area.

Video Surveillance - Every RV owner will appreciate an offsite RV parking spot that keeps a continuous eye on the property and records all activity with video cameras. Visible cameras are a great way to ward off possible vandals and hidden cameras are the perfect way to catch anyone in the act.

Covered Parking - RV owners may want their RV to be protected from heavy snowfalls or rain. Covered parking is much like using a carport and will provide some shelter for an RV.

ndoor Parking - This is just like parking an RV in a garage. An indoor parking space will house the RV and keep it completely isolated from any weather conditions.

Another perk of an indoor parking space is that the RV owner can put a lock on the door, as an added measure of security.

The Beginners Guide To Car Storage

The Beginners Guide To Car Storage

You finally have that collector restored. It is in pristine condition. Unfortunately, you do not have a garage or room in your garage for car storage . Maybe you need to be away for a few months and need somewhere to keep your car while away. You have decided to put it in a professional storing facility. You want your automobile to be in the same condition when you are ready to drive it again. Here are the top five steps you should take to prepare your car for storing.

Step One is to choose the correct facility. Indoor car storage with climate controlled temperature and humidity levels is your best option. The controlled humidity will combat against corrosion and rust to any exposed metal and reduce mold and mildew from forming on the interior. Renting a facility in the available size for a vehicle .

The worst place for your prized possession is a dusty old barn. If a climate controlled facility is not an option take precautions to preserve your vehicle. You need car storage properties that are free of rodents since rats can destroy wiring and car upholstery. A good option is place some form of rat control or poison in the facility. If the facility has concrete floors cover them with carpet to help keep moisture from the bottom of the car. Another option is to use plastic or tarps.

For short term car storage , a carport is an option. However, you should protect your car with a cover. Make sure it fits tightly and properly to avoid damages from the elements. A breathable material is best to allow moisture to be evaporated quickly. A car cover protects your car from dust, light and occasional bumps.

Step two is to prepare your vehicle for car storage .The most important factor in preparing your automobile is that it is clean. Completely wash and wax the car. Clean the underbody and wheel areas. Thoroughly clean the interior using a shop vacuum to get into all the tiny nooks and crannies. Have the carpets cleaned and allow them to dry completely. Use vinyl or leather conditioner on the interior to prevent drying.

Step three is routine maintenance.Change the oil and replace with new. Having clean oil reduces the moisture in the system and prevents corrosion in the motor. You should also change the brake fluid, coolant, washer fluid and the transmission fluid before placing your vehicle in car storage . Fill the gas tank completely. A full tank prevents moisture from forming and causing the tank to rust. You should also add a gas stabilizer. However, you should check with the storing facility, as some may require an empty tank to prevent fire hazards.

Step four is to remove the battery and protect the tires. Batteries tend to crack and leak acid over time and with low temperatures and can cause damage. Remove the battery and wipe down the battery compartment to remove the excess moisture. To protect the tires you have a few options. One is to jack up the car and leave on jack stands while storing. This prevents flat spots from forming and reduces strain on the suspension. Another option is to coat the tires with lithium grease. This prevents the tires from drying, cracking and developing leaks.

Step five is preventative precautions. Prepare the weather stripping by coating with lithium grease. To prevent hood latches, locks and door hinges and latches from rusting and locking up, lubricate them. Remove the wiper blades to prevent them from sticking to the windshield. To prevent rodents and other small animals from taking up residence in your car, place aluminum foil or steel wool in your tail pipe. Another option is to place clean rags in the air intake, fresh air intake and the exhaust. A box of mothballs spread around and under the car goes a long way in keeping these unwanted visitors away.

Make sure windows are rolled up and all doors, trunk and hood are closed. The top on your convertible should be left up to keep it stretched. Do not set the parking brake to prevent the shoes from freezing to the drum.

With a few extra steps you can keep you vehicle in good condition while it is in a car storage .
